Synapses plays an excellent mix of technical death metal with an old school mindset not unlike Decapitated. This is not a mindfuck, but a carefully-plotted triumph of heaviness and technicality, while never over kill. Synapses’ debut album, “Expiation” was produced at Fear Studio in May 2011 with stunning artwork by the master Remy @ Headsplit Design.
